France 2023, in partnership with Orange and with the support of the Monnaie de Paris, presented medals made from discarded telephones to the participants of the Rugby World Cup 2023. Precious metals from over 200,000 phones have been recycled to create the 1,491 medals that were presented to the players at the end of the competition.

This idea was initiated by Havas Play.

And for that occasion, I was asked to assist to the medals reveal at La Monnaie de Paris in order to photographe them. The pictures were used for the communication around that event, by Team Orange Rugby, Rugby World Cup France 2023, France Rugby and many media.
